Two-Mode Full Hybrid System

• The world’s first two-mode hybrid propulsion system in an SUV, this patented hybrid technology optimizes fuel economy for various driving conditions.
–        First Mode: Used at low speed and with light loads. Vehicle can operate in three ways: electric power only, engine power only, or a combination of electric and engine power.
–        Second Mode: Used primarily at highway speeds and includes Active Fuel Management. Provides full engine power when conditions demand it, such as passing, trailer towing and climbing steep grades.
